Citrus Plumbing runs this website to let people in Southern California request plumbing service. This page explains what we collect when you use it, what we do with it, and how to get it deleted. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.
What we collect
What you type into the request form. Your name and phone number are required. Email, service address, ZIP code, the service you need, how urgent it is, and a description of the problem are optional — the form works with the two required fields alone.
What the site records on its own. When you send the form, we also save which page you sent it from and, if you arrived through a link with campaign tags in it, those tags. That tells us which pages actually bring in work. We do not save your IP address with your request; it is used only to stop a script from submitting the form thousands of times, and it is not written anywhere.
Nothing else. There are no accounts, no logins for customers, and no cookies. If you call us instead of using the form, this site records nothing at all.
What we use it for
- Calling or emailing you back about the request you sent.
- Scheduling and performing the work, and keeping a record of it afterwards.
- Seeing which pages on this site lead to real requests, so we can improve them.
We do not add you to a marketing list, send newsletters, or contact you about anything other than the request you made.
Who we share it with
Running a website means using a few service providers. Each one handles your information only to provide its service to us, and none of them is permitted to use it for their own purposes:
- Website hosting and analytics (Vercel) — serves the pages and collects the aggregate traffic numbers described in the next section.
- Database hosting (Neon) — stores the requests you send through the form, on servers in the United States.
- Email delivery (Resend) — sends us an email when a new request comes in, containing what you entered in the form.
Beyond those, we share your information only if the law requires it — a subpoena or a court order — or to protect against fraud or a safety risk. We have never sold personal information and we never will.
Analytics, cookies, and tracking
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count visits. It works without cookies. It records the page visited, the time, the referring site, your browser and device type, and your approximate location at the city level — the kind of aggregate data that tells us three hundred people looked at the water heater page last month, not who any of them were. It does not track you across other websites, and the temporary identifier it uses to tell one visit from the next is discarded after 24 hours.
This site sets no cookies of its own. No advertising networks, no social media pixels, no third-party trackers. The only outside code that runs on these pages is the analytics described above.
Do Not Track signals
Some browsers can send a “Do Not Track” signal. This site does not respond to it, because there is nothing to turn off: it does not track individuals or follow you across other sites in the first place. No other party collects personally identifiable information about your activity over time and across different websites through this site.
Seeing, correcting, or deleting your information
Email jacobkim@citrusplumbingsc.com or call (951) 310-9854 and tell us what you want: a copy of what we have, a correction, or deletion. We will confirm you are the person the request belongs to — usually by calling the number on file — and handle it. Deletion is permanent and we will tell you once it is done.
The one thing we may keep after a deletion request is a record of work we actually performed for you, because California requires contractors to keep job records and because it protects you if there is ever a warranty question.
How long we keep it
A request stays on file while we are handling it and afterwards as part of our business records, so we can find your history if you call again. You can end that at any time by asking us to delete it, as described above.
Children
This site is for adults arranging plumbing work. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. This site has no accounts or mailing list, so the posted page is how we give notice — the date tells you whether anything has changed since you last read it.
